Overload requests

Students wanting to overload a business course will be required to have a brief consultation with an Academic Advisor. If deemed eligible for consideration, the student will be advised to fill out the necessary form.

We are accepting requests for Spring 2012 overloads from April 16 to 20, 2012. All considerations will be dealt with during the week of April 23 to 27, 2012.  However, please continue to monitor the system in the event that you find an open seat in the course you would like.

If you would like a brief consultation to discuss a possible course overload, please visit our office or call the Undergraduate Advising phone number as follows: Scurfield Hall room 351
Phone: 403.220.6593

Please consider...

  • Students are only permitted one consultation per term.
  • Only business courses will be considered for overload in our office.
  • Priority will be given to Haskayne, MEED, and MGSO students graduating at the next convocation.
  • We do not entertain requests for lecture changes.
  • Pre-requisites and/or co-requisites will not be waived.
  • Ensure that the course(s) requested (and all related course components) do not conflict with any other course (and all related course components) you are currently registered in. If you would like us to drop you from a course to accommodate your request, please indicate this.
  • Please ensure that your current email address listed in your Student Centre is correct, as all decisions are communicated by email.
  • If your request is approved, you will automatically be registered into the requested course(s), and an email confirming this will be sent to you.
  • This process is not available to Open Studies, Visiting, and Exchange students.
