Co-operative education program

The Co-operative Education Program is an optional academic program that allows students to alternate in-school learning with full-time work experience. The Co-op Program gives students 12 to 16 months of paid full-time work experience before they graduate in their chosen field. Hundreds of students have been embedded within corporate Calgary over the years and more than 90% of co-op students graduate with permanent employment.

Management Advisory Council

The Management Advisory Council (MAC) provides advice on strategic planning and building the school's reputation as a world-class business school. This advice helps the business school to proactively prepare students with the necessary skills to succeed in future business challenges. The true strength of our Council is attributed to the distinguished expertise of the individuals who share their business acumen.

Jarislowsky Executive-in-Residence

The Jarislowsky Fellow in Business Management at the Haskayne School of Business provides students with access to professionals—and their real world successes and failures—each year through an executive-in-residence. The Jarislowsky Fellows are retired executives, from business and other sectors, who interact with Haskayne students and faculty for terms ranging from a few days to a full semester or academic year.  They offer career advice, provide guest lectures in classes, participate in the mentorship program and serve as ambassadors for the school.
